Amazon Now Offers A Feature That Acts Like Your Mom If You Try To Spend Too Much

Amazon is the online version of Target in more ways than one. It’s not only a one-stop shop for basically everything but it’s absolutely easy to lose track of how much money you’re spending after just a couple clicks. At Target, you’re basically screwed, because your bill is over $100 and it’s embarrassing to ask the cashier to “take stuff off ‘cuz I’m broke” and there are people in line behind you and it makes you look like a poor chump.

If you’re shopping on Amazon, you’ve just got to delete stuff out of your shopping cart OR don’t get into that situation in the first place with new Amazon Allowance.

Amazon Allowance enables you to add gift card funds for yourself or someone else on a one-time, daily, weekly, monthly, or every-two-week basis. Amazon Allowance is directly added to the recipient’s Amazon.com Gift Card Balance and can be used instantly to shop among millions of items on Amazon.com. If the recipient doesn’t have an Amazon.com account, we’ll send him/her an email to set up one.

In other words, Amazon is now your momma. It can scold you and stop you from spending too much OR it can literally be your momma if your mom (or pops) adds money to the account. Just like your allowance but without having to mow the lawn or rub mommy’s tired feet.
