We’ll all be celebrating the birth of our great Nation tomorrow. Some of you are already celebrating today. The Internet never sleeps or takes vacations, so I’m working today and daydreaming about how great tomorrow’s going to be. While checking Twitter’s ‘Moments’ I came across this trend that has warmed my soul like Martha Washington’s hot apple pie.
It started with Stephen Colbert tweeting a photo of himself in front of the Carl Sandburg House in Flat Rock, North Carolina. Stephen asked people to send him their brushes with ‘American Greatness’ this holiday weekend, and it’s a glorious reminder of how we live in the greatest country on planet earth.
