26-year-old Jeff Taylor was not always the ripped Bro he is today – at one point he only weighed 135 pounds, and with his height measuring in at 5’11” that meant he was once one helluva scrawny dude. Instead of accepting his body the way it was, Jeff decided to strive for greatness and begin weight training. “To be completely honest, I’m not sure what caused the change but one day I woke up, looked in the mirror and was no longer satisfied with my body” he explains, “with little knowledge about weight training I started going to the gym. Buying all these supplements and meal plans which promised results, but I wasn’t seeing the results promised.”

Rather than become frustrated and give up, Jeff says he took a step back and began educating himself on the proper technique, supplements and nutrition required in order for him to see the physical gains he’d been wanting. While he says he never saw himself as one of those “meal prepper” people, soon after starting the trend for himself he became “shocked” at the results he quickly began seeing. “I was getting stronger, gaining muscle definition, had more energy and many other great benefits. It’s no secret, when you fuel your body with healthy, nutritious foods you will feel better and be able to make more progress.”

What progress is Jeff talking about? Oh, just a casual 40 pounds of muscle he was able to put on after tweaking his diet:

As people began noticing Jeff’s body transform, he realized he kept getting asked the same questions over and over:

How did you add so much weight?

What kind of food do you eat?

What workouts are you doing?

Do you take any supplements?

And so began Water Jug Fitness.

I originally created WaterJugFitness to share my fitness transformation and journey in hopes to help others with their fitness goals. It’s growing to be something much more impactful. Being a hard gainer, I know the struggles of gaining weight. People think it is easy, but it’s not. I mean sure if you eat greasy, fatty, processed foods or sweets all the time you will gain weight but not the right kind. Not only weight gain though, I have helped several friends and family members with weight loss. My step brother was able to lose 40 lbs. in 5 months by following a simple meal plan I created for him. I also, provide motivation, inspiration, and fitness coaching. I’m not a certified personal trainer, nutritionist, or registered dietician. Everyone I help is aware that my methods are based off of many hours of research, training, and results.

Jeff now hopes to be able to help as many people as possible with their fitness goals through Water Jug Fitness. Judging from his own progress (as well as the progress his clients have had), it seems like that goal shouldn’t be hard to achieve:
