Starving Homeless Dog Jumps Into Family’s Car, They Keep It, And It’s Transformation Will Make You Feel Feelings

Warning, bros: this post may cause you to feel emotions. Symptoms include, but are not limited to, a warming sensation behind your eyes and the inescapable urge to hug your pet.

So a family was driving along the freeway when they spotted one of the most run-down, emaciated dogs I’ve ever seen. On top of being deathly underweight, the pooch was riddled with parasites and sores. It had also shed most of it’s fur from malnutrition, allowing for the sun to beat down on its skin, causing a painful sunburn all over its body.

The family stopped the car to assess the situation. The pup, in an act of desperation, leaped into the family’s car. After discussing, they decided to give the unwanted dog a home. They named her Kelsey.

Check out the pictures below documenting Kelsey’s transformation from being on the brink of death to a healthy, happy pet.

Feelings activated.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
