Insane Midair Collision During Air Show In, You Guessed It, Malaysia

Indonesia’s Jupiter Aerobic Team, which flies military trainers, had a rough day yesterday when two KT-1 aircrafts clipped wings and lost control, sending the two aircrafts spiraling downward in a fiery rage. The crash occurred during a practice run from Malaysia’s Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA). All four pilots were able to eject and survived the collision, to the surprise of anyone who’s seen the below video.

The Jupiter Aerobic Team is comprised of instructor pilots, who are the most experienced in the Indonesian Air Force. They’re probably not rushing to throw this one of their resume.

Amazing. People die from eating a peanut but survive a high-speed, fiery explosion 1,000 feet in the air. This world continues to confuse me.

P.S. Malaysia flights are going for cheap on Orbitz.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
