It is early in the day in Albuquerque, New Mexico and apparently this father and son have been drinking heavily. The son allegedly pulled a gun on the guy in truck’s son which angered him. Following a lengthy back-and-forth, the guy gets out of the truck and approaches the father. The son intervenes and gets in the truck guy’s face, but is greeted with a nasty haymaker that knocks him out cold. The blow is so brutal that it knocks the son’s shoe off his foot.
The dad is so preoccupied with the argument that he doesn’t check on his son who has been unconscious for minutes.
The dad does however tell the guy in the truck, “Your ass is grass,” which is old white guy speak for you’re in trouble.
The son finally wakes up from his punch slumber and then calls the knockout artist a “beaner,” to which he responds, “‘Beaner?’ My name’s Mike Cole.”
They agree to disagree and the guy drives off.
So the morale of the story is don’t be sloppy drunk and pick fights with guys in big pickup trucks.
