Back in early September, I got to drive a puke green Lamborghini Gallardo on a closed course next to MetLife Stadium. Slamming the pedal to the floor of a $300,000 Italian supercar is maybe one of the most exhilarating feelings I’ll ever experience. It’s so easy to hit triple-digit speeds in a few seconds that the raw power of the car makes the hairs spike up on the back of your neck. It’s like being the Incredible Hulk, except in a car.
According to Jalopnik, a few underground racing junkies souped-up a Lamborghini Huracan this summer. This past weekend, they set a new 1/2 mile speed record on a drag strip, hitting 238.6mph in just a half-mile in a twin turbo Lambo.
