Brewers pitcher Matt Garza decided to chime in when actress Jessica Chastain brought up the subject of birth control on Twitter. He probably shouldn’t have.

Chastain had taken to Twitter to express her concern about the effect the Senate repealing Obamacare could have on women having access to birth control.

Whether you agree or disagree with her take, it might be best not to throw out a counter argument like the one Garza decided to lob into the Twitterverse.

Why was this comment a bit ill-advised? Well, there are many reasons, none of which were lost on the folks who decided to get their troll on at Garza’s expense…

Even well-noted baseball troll, pitcher Brandon McCarthy, got in on the trolling action…

I especially liked this one…

Though this one is pretty solid as well…

As if all of that wasn’t bad enough, Garza once told another player that his wife needed to shut up when it comes to talking about baseball, yet here he is talking about women’s rights.

Twitter beefs between people who live in different worlds than ours are so fun, aren’t they?

By the way, there is SO much more here. Knock yourselves out.

Before settling down at BroBible, Douglas Charles, a graduate of the University of Iowa (Go Hawks), owned and operated a wide assortment of websites. He is also one of the few White Sox fans out there and thinks Michael Jordan is, hands down, the GOAT.
