I’m not one for feel-good-happy-comeback stories, but occasionally I’m in a “mood” and a story will come along that’ll bring a tear to my eye. Actually, that was a lie – the only thing that brings tears to my eyes is The Notebook. This video made my eye itch, which is as close as it’s gonna get so they should just take what they’ve got and just run with it.
As for the situation surrounding the video:
Our daughter, Bailey, had complete paralysis from the waist down for 11 days with no explanation as to why. This video is of one of her favorite nurses coming onto her shift and not knowing that Bailey had started walking this day.
Heyyo, good for you Bailey. I’m serious. I can’t even run a damn mile without stopping and here you are overcoming paralysis…not sure what that means in the grand scheme of things, but you’ve accomplished a lot while I’ve accomplished jack shit. I guess this is a wake up call? Sure, let’s call it that.
