Rowdy Chick Fight At IHOP Is Diffused Real Quick After An Officer Storms In With A Taser And An Attitude

Footage of Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responding to a fight at an IHOP restaurant in Fort Meyers, Florida on Sunday is going viral after one deputy stormed in and owned the situation with the help of a taser.

Officers struggled to get control of an increasingly chaotic situation, as the crowd tried to dodge punishment numerous times by fleeing the scene. That is until one officer stormed in and made sure everyone knew that he wasn’t fucking around (at the 2:20 mark of the video above).

According to WINK News, Police tactics expert David Grossi claims that the officers were outnumbered and the deputy used a reasonable amount of aggression to diffuse the tense situation.

“The operative word in law enforcement is force…and it’s not pretty to watch but it’s necessary when you’re dealing with individuals who don’t respond to verbal commands,” he said. “I think that’s what made people feel a little queasy, because he dropped the F-bomb. They are like ‘oh my God, he is using high levels of force, unnecessary force.’ Well the language, yes, was inappropriate but that’s all it was, was language.”

There is absolutely no way any justice would have been served without this Tazmanian Devil. Good on him.
