July 27th is National Scotch Day, which gives you an excuse to pick up a cigar and dust off that bottle that’s normally reserved for major life events like a marriage, the birth of a child, or the realization that the American dream might be dead and everything you were promised as a child was a lie. It might not mix well, but it’s a truly versatile drink in the most abstract sense of the word.
