Spicy Starburst And Spicy Skittles Are Hitting The Shelves And I’ll Try Anything Once

People

There is very little Starburst and Skittles can do that I wouldn’t approve of. If I took the early flight home from San Diego and a couple of unwrapped Starburst jump out of my bathroom blindfolded like a goddamn magic show ready to double team my girlfriend, I would probably just immediately grow a pony tail and take on filming duties.

Both candies have done a fantastic job of diversifying their portfolios–whether it be tropical flavors or my FAV Sweet and Sour Starburst, the two have proven that they aren’t just a one-dimensional candy (looking at you, Snickers). But the two face their biggest challenge yet: incorporating their signature sweetness with the bite of spice, as a representative for the Wrigley Company confirmed to PEOPLE that the candies will be infused with a spicy kick this December. The “Sweet Heat” candies will have a a black wrapper and a new fiery logo.

The Skittles flavors include Fiery Watermelon, Blazin’ Mango, Flamin’ Orange, Sizzlin’ Strawberry and Lemon Spark, while the Starburst are similarly flavored with Fiery Watermelon, Strawberry Mango, Flamin’ Orange and Pipin’ Pineapple.

Bold move, Cotton. Lets see if it works out for ’em.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
