Stop Everything — Grilled Cheese Donuts Are A Thing Now

dd

Sometimes a food creation pops up on my newsfeed and I start breathing very heavily. This is one of those times. Introducing the The Flamin’ Hot Doughnut Grilled Cheese, a cheesy fried dough creation being served at Clinton Hall at 90 Washington Street in FiDi. It’s a grilled cheese donut. Here’s the anatomy of such a creation: “Habanero Glazed Bacon Donut, sliced in half, filled with mozzarella, and hung over a bowl of tomato soup,” as Thrillist says.

It’s a part of The Doughnut Project and only served on weekends for the next month because your heart can’t handle such a beautiful food on a weekday.
