Then today Trump went for the jugular by Retweeting a pic suggesting that Cruz’s wife is ugly and Trump’s wife is hot.

While on the campaign trail today, Cruz went in on Trump’s attacks on his wife, calling him a “sniveling coward” in what might be the most defining quote of the 2016 presidential election so far.
