Kellyanne Conway — of “alternative facts” fame, amongst many other things — has made quite a name for herself on cable news over the past year as Donald Trump’s official Counselor to the President. Along with Twitter and Dippin’ Dots-hater-in-chief Sean Spicer, she’s a big part of the current White House communications apparatus. In addition to punditry, Counselor Conway also fancies herself a bit of a comedian — Back in 1998, at the age of 31, Conway performed a stand-up routine at a D.C. charity event. Given her importance in the Trump administration and the new popularity of the Orwellian phrase “alternative facts,” the clips from C-SPAN are quite a sight to behold.
It’s not that it’s funny, more just incredibly cringe-worthy. This line in particular, as the Daily News points out, is particular interesting when you think about her current position:
“Someone who goes on TV, constantly, and says the same thing over, and over, and over again…but never wears the same thing twice.”
