There was a period after college where you’d go to a bottomless sushi-sake birthday party once a month. Banging on the table, chopsticks flying everywhere, Sapporo splashing up your sleeves, and low-grade tuna eating your insides with mercury. All the rice would expand once you started drinking heavily. I’ve never felt worse than after those birthday parties, but they were fun for a while. In this episode, we look back on our early twenties and the stuff we’re happy to have left behind.
