With high school basketball season well underway, most of the nation’s top seniors have already made their decision on where they will be playing college basketball next season.

Bronny James has chosen to do things a bit differently than the rest of his fellow top recruits.

Right now, Bronny is the only player ranked in the top 50 in the Class of 2023 that hasn’t made a commitment to a program or a move to the pros for next season.

With the, there is plenty of competition for the signature of the most recognizable name in the class from programs still looking to boost their recruiting class for next season.

According to Yahoo Sports’ Krysten Peek, there are currently still 4 schools in the mix to land Bronny with one potentially having a leg up on the competition right now.

The 4 schools still in the mix are Oregon, Michigan, USC, and Ohio State.

Ohio State has long had the support of Bronny’s father, which could draw the point guard to the school.

USC would allow him to stay in California where his dad is currently playing professionally.

However, KJ Evans, a member of the 2023 recruiting class who has committed to Oregon, told Peek that Bronny has expressed interest in the Ducks to Evans.

[Bronny] told me he likes Oregon, and I want him to visit there. Everyone that’s coming in is unselfish. We all cut, move and don’t hold the ball too long, so it’s going to benefit him. Bronny can be more of a playmaker and a shot creator, and I think we would play really well together.

Whichever program does land Bronny James will be getting a big recruiting win and hopefully fans will learn soon which program that will be.
