Star defensive end Nick Bosa has inked a historic five-year, $170 million contract extension with the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This monumental deal includes an astonishing $122.5 million in guaranteed money, solidifying Bosa’s status as the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history.

Bosa’s contract saga had been a lingering issue leading up to the start of the 2023 season. However, with just days remaining before the 49ers kick off their campaign against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team and Bosa have reached an agreement, putting an end to the uncertainty.
