Aaron Rodgers’ football season may be done, but it’s always hot take season when it comes to the New York Jets quarterback. Especially when he makes an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.
This week, Aaron Rodgers brought up Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – the guy who wanted him to be his Vice Presidential running mate in the 2024 Presidential election. When that didn’t work out, RFK Jr. ended up with the consolation prize of being Donald Trump’s nominee for United States Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Whether Kennedy gets confirmed by Congress has yet to be determined, but Aaron Rodgers, for one, cannot wait for RFK Jr. to get in front of some senators.
“I want to watch his confirmation hearing and just see who tries to f— with him,” Rodgers told Pat McAfee and his crew. “Like please, somebody try to get after him and just watch him absolutely mop the floor with any of these senators. You better come ready, senators. Come ready and try and see if you can pull one over on my boy, Bobby. Because Bobby’s a f—— smart dude. And no notes, off the cuff and can handle his own pretty well.”
Naturally, Rodgers’ discussion of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. also veered off into the U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently deciding to ban Red dye No. 3 from being used as an ingredient in food and drugs.
“If you spend a minute researching ingredients in products in the states compared to overseas, it’s disgusting,” Aaron Rodgers explained. “It’s disgusting what they allow here, the levels that they allow here, products that are terrible for you, products they know are carcinogenic. So, he’s doing a service to everybody if you just let him and get the hell out of the way and stop trying to label him as whatever the f— they want to label him these days.
“He just wants to make sure that everything that’s being given to our kids is safe, everything that we’re ingesting on a day-to-day basis is safe. And he’s going to ‘Make America Healthy Again’ or is going to freaking die trying. Wouldn’t you want that?”
