Aaron Rodgers and his girlfriend Shailene Woodley have been able to make things work despite their stark political differences.
Woodley, an avid environmental activist and climate advocate who supported Democrat Bernie Sanders in the last two presidential elections, is quite liberal when it comes to her political leanings. Rodgers, on the other hand, obviously feels quite differently, as he recently referred to the Biden administration as a “fake White House” while also questioning the legitimacy of Biden’s 81 million votes.
Despite these differences, the pair are able to able to make things work and are able to do so with a very simple yet effective method: by not discussing politics.
“They are not talking about their politics, and they never really have,” a source told People Magazine. “They disagreed on a lot of things. Early on, they decided to agree to disagree about things and not debate them. She is not someone whose mind you can change, so Aaron hasn’t even tried.”
Rodgers enters the offseason with tons of questions about his future, as there’s a very real chance that the defending (and presumed) MVP of the NFL does not return to Green Bay, which is where he’s spent his entire career since he was drafted back in 2005. Following the loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the NFC playoffs, Rodgers said that he does not want to be a part of a rebuild in Green Bay and will use the coming weeks and months to asses his options.
