The Las Vegas Sphere advertising rates are going viral this week due to their outrageous costs. You’ll have to spend upwards of half-a-million dollars to flash your message across the massive screen.

A recent report states that the going rate for one day starts at $450,000, while a week-long ad will hit customers for $650,000. Those insane numbers have sparked a reaction on social media.

The Sphere has become one of the most interesting entertainment venues in America, boasting nearly 600K square feet of LED lighting. It’s believed to be the largest screen in the world and has gained a wide following due to its never-before-seen avenue of marketing.

The gigantic globe can be seen flashing upcoming sporting events, like this Monday Night Football graphic before a Las Vegas Raiders game earlier this season.

They might say, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” but just know that the Sphere is watching.

The eye is always lurking, including when you shank a tee shot at the Wynn Golf Club. The venue seems to know no bounds.

It recently kicked off a concert series with U2, who has a residency tour on the Strip through mid-December. The views inside are even more incredible.

With musicians now performing on site, the sporting world is looking to get in on the action. Dana White of the UFC is now looking for his opportunity to host a fight at the location.

Las Vegas Sphere advertising rates are sky-high.

Excitement surrounds the brand-new venue, but with the good, comes the bad.

The Sphere’s construction costs reportedly went over budget by $1 billion, leading the attraction to find ways of recouping those expenses.

Parking prices for that U2 concert series set a new record in Las Vegas, while drink prices at the venue have attendees floored.

The cost to advertise isn’t much better.

Those on social media were quick to respond.

“That daily rate breaks down to about $5 per second. Think I could buy a handful of seconds on there?”

“I think I’m just going to make that smiley face my business logo instead.”

“Wow… that’s a good racket.”

While some noted that the cost is much cheaper than that of a Super Bowl ad, it’s still a hefty ask.

Regardless of the high price, businesses will likely continue pumping out their upcoming event previews on the massive Sphere.
