Parking prices at the new Las Vegas Sphere have many concert-goers peeved. The venue is charging outrageous amounts for its current U2 residency, which runs through mid-December.

Many on social media are now reacting to those sky-high prices, which don’t even factor the get-in price for events.

Now, the MSG Sphere has become one of the coolest venues on the Strip. Boasting 580,000 square feet of LED lighting, the Exosphere is believed to be the largest LED screen in the world.

On the outside, viewers are often greeted with friendly messages about upcoming happenings.

Or others that are a bit creepier, at times.

It’s become a spectacle for folks visiting Sin City, and it’s only grown more popular with the introduction of concerts. U2 kicked off its three-month residency at the Sphere in early October, playing the first concert in venue history.

The scenes inside the Sphere are even more incredible than those on the outside.

Patrons will certainly have to pay for those pleasures, though, even before stepping foot inside the globe. Parking prices at the Las Vegas Sphere are running between $100 (self-parking) and $125 (valet) for the U2 concert series.

With only a 300-spot parking lot, those hoping to find a place right next to the venue will be charged through the roof.

“Self-parking on site will be $100, while valet parking will cost $125. This sets a new record for Las Vegas parking, which up until seven years ago was free everywhere on the Strip that a concert was ever staged.”

This comes on top of the $400+ you’ll likely drop on the concert, itself. There are also fees for adjacent casino parking lots, though they don’t run nearly as high.

Many haven’t been happy to see the increasing prices, and they’ve shared that opinion online.

“Vegas crossed the line, corporate greed has ruined Sin City.”

“Guess I’ll never be parking there. There’s no value in Vegas anymore.”

“They need to make up for the $1B extra it cost them to build.”

While incredibly high, many will still be willing to pay the Las Vegas Sphere parking prices, so don’t expect them to come down any time soon.
