In the blockbuster deal of the weekend, star wide receiver AJ Brown was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles during the NFL Draft. The move allowed the Titans to avoid paying the pass catcher, who was in line for a new contract, while also grabbing a pair of picks.

Obviously, Philly nabbed one of the league’s best players, adding to a receiving rotation that also includes DeVonta Smith. Brown brings with him 185 career catches and nearly 3,000 receiving yards. He’s tallied two 1,000-yard campaigns in his three professional seasons.

Now in the City of Brotherly Love, Brown is showing love to his new quarterback, Jalen Hurts.

The two have a past relationship, and when the news broke, Hurts was the first person to call his new teammate to let him know how excited he was to be on the same squad. Now, the wideout is returning the favor.

On Monday, Brown was asked about playing with Hurts. He seems pumped to have landed with the Eagles.

AJ Brown comments on new QB Jalen Hurts

Brown didn’t hold back when talking about the relationship with new quarterback Jalen Hurts. Here’s what he had to say about his new passer.

“Man, it’s going to be real special. I get to play with my best friend. I’m so excited, playing with someone who thinks like me. I talk to him every day, regardless of this football stuff.”

They should be a fun pair to watch in the NFC East next season. The Eagles made the playoffs last year before falling in the first round to the Bucs. Brown is hoping to give his new team a boost, helping Philly get back to the Super Bowl.
