The ‘Always Sunny’ Cast Crashed The NLCS And Sweet Dee Was Twerking On The Phillie Phanatic

The Philadelphia Phillies steamrolled the Diamondbacks in Game 2 of the NLCS putting on a hit show en route to a 10-0 win. And the It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia cast crashed the NLCS getting down on the field where Sweet Dee Reynolds (Kaitlin Olson) was twerking on the Phillie Phanatic mascot.

It is hard to overstate how the Paddy’s Pub crew is royalty in the City of Brotherly Love. One could argue the ‘Sunny’ crew as a singular entity could go on the Mt. Rushmore of Philadelphia alongside Allen Iverson, Wilt Chamberlain, Julius Erving, and others. And when I say ‘one could argue’ it’s me, I’m the one saying they’re on the theoretical Mt. Rushmore of Philly.

Citizens Bank Park was rocking as the Philles swatted their way to a 2-0 lead in the NLCS. ‘Swatted’ doesn’t really do it justice either because all those dudes do is hit bombs. But the Always Sunny crew definitely had the crowd riled up:

After Sweet Dee twerked up on the Phillie Phanatic they made their way into the stands and tossed out the casual ‘Go Phils’ as another camera got stuck in their faces:

For me, however, the most notable non-game highlight of the night took place in the outfield. This dude gets straight up leveled by security after storming the field and the bullpen was loving every second of it.

Look closely enough and you can actually see his soul leaving his body and entering the astral plane as the security guard leveled him from the side. Perfect form. 10 out of 10. No notes.

It remains to be seen if Mac ever got to read his love letter to Chase Utley. However, we know from almost 5 years ago that Mac finally got to play catch with Chase Utley.

The Philadelphia Phillies are now just 2 wins away from returning to the World Series. Spirits are high.
