Andy Reid would have liked a bite of Taylor Swift’s pastries. He didn’t get one and it bums him out.

The 65-year-old head coach discussed his disappointment with Chris Simms at the NFL Combine on Tuesday.

As the story goes, Swift found the time to bake and frost homemade Pop-Tarts for the Kansas City Chiefs offensive line at some point during her boyfriend’s run to the Super Bowl. Considering that she had a break in her Eras Tour between Nov. 26, 2023 and Feb. 7, 2024 — it was probably at some point during the regular season.

Anyway, regardless of when Taylor Swift presented her tasty treats to the team, all of the Hog Mollies got to chow down. Their head coach did not.

Reid, a food enthusiast, didn’t even get a taste and it haunts him to this day!

To make it even more unfortunate, Swift is a talented chef who especially loves to bake. She even made pregame cinnamon rolls for Travis Kelce ahead of his game against the Chargers in October.

They look insane and Bernie Kosar can confirm that they do indeed taste amazing!

Swift’s chai sugar cookies are apparently the stuff of legends.

All of her creations look absolutely delicious— especially the toaster pastries.

Reid really missed out. He would have loved to get his hands on some of Swift’s baked goods but his offensive line ate them all before he could even ask. What a bummer!

Perhaps the international pop icon will catch word of her boyfriend’s head coach’s disappointment and whip him up a special batch upon return to the United States. In the meantime, Swift is clearly getting a grasp of what it takes for an NFL team to be successful.

She didn’t gift her pastries to the skill players or the defense. She knows that games are won and lost in the trenches. If Swift is going to see Kelce succeed, he needs to Patrick Mahomes to throw him the ball. And for Mahomes to be able to throw him the ball, he needs time in the pocket.

The offensive line is crucial to Kelce’s success so Swift made them some homemade Pop-Tarts!
