Angel Reese returned to Baltimore on Wednesday evening as the LSU Tigers traveled to Coppin State. Although the seventh-ranked Tigers nearly doubled up the three-win Eagles in a blowout win, the first-ever sold-out crowd in school history pulled up to watch the hometown superstar. Pretty cool!

Not only did Reese show up to the game with the support of her city behind her, she put on a show! LSU’s superstar forward dropped a game-high 26 points with six rebounds and two assists.

It was a happy homecoming during a difficult season.

Reese was away from the team for about two weeks during the month of November. Neither she nor Kim Mulkey offered any clarity on the mysterious absence, but it reportedly stemmed from lackadaisical play.

Regardless of the reason, the haters were quick to jump all over Reese. Especially once Flau’jae Johnson’s mother made some wild accusations about her daughter’s teammate and her mother.

Angel Reese will not soon forget all of the people that spoke ill. She channeled her inner Ja Morant!

After serving a 25-game suspension to begin the 2023/24 NBA season, Memphis’ star point guard returned to the court on Tuesday and scored 34 points while leading the Grizzlies to a two-point win on a buzzer-beater. Morant had just four words after the statement victory.

Reese echoed the controversial NBA superstar’s words and posted his quote to X, formerly known as Twitter.

She dropped 33% of LSU’s points against Coppin State less than 24 hours later. She’s on demon time!

The reigning national champions dropped their season opener to Colorado in a shocking upset. They have not lost since.

As the Tigers keep rolling in the win column, Reese continues to play up to her First Team All-American status. Meanwhile, she continues to draw a massive crowd wherever she goes.
