Angel Reese continues to live it up following LSU’s national championship win. The star forward is cashing in on a major NIL deal at the best possible time.
Reese has become a college basketball megastar over the last few months thanks to her role, and antics, throughout the Tigers’ title run. It’s paying off in a big way.
Reese played somewhat of the villain in LSU’s win over Iowa, being caught mercilessly mocking Hawkeyes’ superstar Caitlyn Clark. She’s been making headlines ever since.
Many immediately blasted her for her actions in the national championship, though others commended her. Shaq went as far as to call her the best player in LSU history, regardless of sport.
Reese also made waves with her remarks about not visiting the White House following comments made by First Lady Jill Biden. She, instead said, “We’ll go see the Obamas.”
Though many might not agree with her antics, she has the game to back it up. Reese notched double-doubles in every NCAA Tournament game on her way to being named the event’s Most Outstanding Player.
With the viral moments on the court, she’s seen her social media following explode. That newfound fame is already becoming quite lucrative.
The basketballer is among the top 10 college athletes in On3’s NIL Valuation ($1.4M).
She’s already exploring ways to turn it into modeling opportunities with luxury brands, and recently secured a deal with a major car dealership in Louisiana.
