Angel Reese became a household name during the Women’s NCAA Tournament, winning MVP in LSU’s run to a national championship. Her growing popularity came due to both her on- and off-court antics.

Reese set a collegiate record for double-doubles in a season, a trend she continued throughout the Big Dance. The forward averaged 21 points and 15 rebounds each night, recording double digit points and boards in all six postseason contests.

While her play on the hardwood was stellar, her trash talk in the title game is what many remember most. After picking up the school’s first ever women’s basketball championship, Reese mocked Iowa’s Caitlin Clark and her “You Can’t See Me” celebration.

The viral moment helped lead to an insane boost in her social media presence. She’s now reached influencer status as she clears 2M followers on Instagram and TikTok. That number nearly doubled over the last week, according to On3 Sports.

It also doesn’t include here 230K followers on Twitter.

Reese already has partnerships with companies like Coach, Calvin Klein, and Bose.

Now, she’s hoping to use her growing popularity to cash in on even more NIL opportunities.

Her agent, Jeanine Ogbonnaya, says the offers have been rolling in since the NCAA Tournament’s finish.

“She’s not just a student-athlete anymore or a marketable women’s basketball player where we’re doing these one-off deals,” Ogbonnaya said. “I think at this point, she’s got the following to back it up where she can be doing long-term partnerships.

When asked about the brands Angel Reese intends to pursue, Ogbonnaya replied, “I think this whole weekend, really, everyone took notice of… how beautiful she is. The modeling, the fashion and the lifestyle space is definitely something that we’re really pushing toward.”

She’s already got a solid start, given some of the major brands she’s been involved with at LSU.
