Anthony Joshua is reacting to the possibility of ending Jake Paul’s boxing career.
Back in December, Joshua brutally knocked out Paul in there fight, and broke his opponent’s jaw in two places.
Six months after the fight, Paul revealed that he might not ever fight again due to the injury.
“We’ll see what my doctors say. I think I’ll be able to get more accurate timeframe or can I even fight again? That is definitely in the realm of possibilities of things.”
“Most definitely [a chance I can’t fight again],” Paul told Ariel Helwani. “I think it just depends on how the bone heals and then also there’s a tooth missing here that I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to get an implanted tooth of some sort. I don’t know how much time that’s going to add to things. But we just have to see and figure out what the smartest thing is for me.”
During a press conference for his upcoming July comeback fight vs Kristian Prenga in December, Joshua was asked about possibly ending Paul’s career.
“That was asked of me when I took the fight, and I think I delivered it!”
