Arch Manning broke another record last week – one that his high school coach thought was “unbreakable” – and now owns all the passing records at Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans.
The Texas Longhorn commit had already surpassed his uncles Peyton and Eli Manning on the school’s all time touchdown pass list and all time passing yards list. He did that almost a month ago. Peyton held the school’s all time record for passing touchdowns with 93. Eli held the record for passing yards with 7,268.
This past Friday night he broke the school’s record for total touchdowns combined passing and rushing when he went 16-of-20 for 258 yards and four touchdowns passing in a 31–14 win over Country Day.

Arch Manning still has at least two more games to go this season
That gave him 129 touchdowns, moving him past 2015 Isidore Newman grad Jay Tyler’s 127. Tyler, who played running back, receiver, and returner in high school, went on to play wide receiver at Stanford.
“I was at all of Jay’s games,” said Arch Manning after the game. “He was a playmaker everywhere. It’s fun to be in the same conversation with him and I’m just glad we got the win tonight.”

Of course, Manning broke the record on Senior Night – a night when Newman also celebrated the opening of the Manning Fieldhouse on the south end of Michael Lupin Field before the game.

The Isidore Newman Greenies are now 6–1 and will go on the road to face M.L. King Charter this coming Friday night.
Arch Manning’s future team, the Texas Longhorns, fell to 5-3 over the weekend with a loss to Oklahoma State, meaning they still need one more win to qualify for a bowl game.
The Longhorns’ current starting quarterback, Quinn Ewers, completed just 38 percent of his passes (19-of-49) and threw three interceptions in the loss.
