Arch Manning is a name that you know by now. The son of Cooper Manning, nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning, and grandson of Archie Manning is the nation’s No. 1 quarterback prospect in the class of 2023.

As such, he is also the nation’s top player— period.

Nobody but Arch and his family know where he is leaning for a college decision. He can play anywhere he wants in the country, but has been linked to Ole Miss, Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Texas, SMU and Clemson.

Despite his highly-scrutinized recruitment, there is a lot of time for him to decide. In fact, by the time he reaches college, he might be a punter anyway.

Obviously that isn’t true, but Arch showed his ability to kick with the best of them over the weekend. He got a chance to punt during Newman’s preseason game on Friday and absolutely boomed it.

In fact, Newman ended up losing the game 29-7, so it’s very possible that Manning had the chance to punt quite a few times throughout the night.

Even though — barring a wild and crazy change of heart — Manning won’t be a punter on the next level, imagine how good he could be if he devoted all of his time to the craft.

In the meantime, he’s got his arm to fall back on. Some might say that he’s pretty good at quarterback.

Even in a loss, he is FUN to watch. Take a look:
