14 years into his NBA career, Patty Mills hasn’t had too many changes of scenery.

He spent the first two of those years in Portland after he was drafted by the Blazers.

The next 10 years were spent with the San Antonio Spurs.

Then he played for the Brooklyn Nets for the last two years.

After playing for just 3 teams over 14 years, Mills has now been traded to 3 teams in the last 10 days.

It started with the Nets sending Mills and a 2028 second round pick to the Houston Rockets in exchange for future draft considerations.

Mills wasn’t a Rocket for long as they sent him to the Oklahoma City Thunder along with draft compensation a few days after acquiring him.

Now he’s on the move again as the Thunder have agreed to a Mills-centric deal of their own.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Thunder are sending Mills to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for TyTy Washington, Usman Garuba, Rudy Gay, and a second round pick in a deal that will clear $4.5 million in cap space for the Hawks.

Wojnarowski added that this might not even be the end of the trades for Mills this offseason.

His expiring contract is very appealing and could be used in a future deal for the Hawks.

The Atlanta Hawks also don’t exactly have a need at point guard with Trae Young and Dejounte Murray already on the roster.

Wherever Mills ends up, he’ll be provide that team with some solid veteran depth after playing 14 minutes per game for the Nets last season while continuing to knock down the 3 consistently.

That team just might have to be the 4th to trade for Patty Mills this offseason.
