Auburn descended upon Fayetteville on Friday afternoon ahead of Saturday’s college basketball game against Arkansas. The Tigers’ leading scorer could not believe their accommodations.

He and top JUCO transfer Addarin Scott proceeded to clown the Razorbacks for a hotel room that looks like “Grandma’s crib.” It is truly as Arkansas as it gets.

Johni Broome, who is averaging 15.9 points per game for Auburn, posted the video on his Instagram story. The visitors are staying at the Graduate Hotel on the corner of N. East Ave and E. Meadow St.

In most college towns, the Graduate Hotel is one of the better options. That may still be true in Fayetteville.

However, the room in which Broome and Scott are staying takes the “unique” descriptor at its word. Unique is certainly one way to describe it!

A painting of Gil Gerard, most famous for his role as Buck Rogers, hangs over the toilet. A watercolor painting of Jerry Jones is featured in the foyer. A flower lady in front of a lake and Honus Wagner (?) watch over guests as they sleep. There is a faux mounted hog head mounted above the beds.

Those features to the room do not include the shades or the chairs. Oh, and the floors are camouflage. Literally. Full-blown hunting camo.

Scott said, “this is some bulls—-, bro!” Broome made a comment about how it would be for an elderly woman. Scott followed up to quip that it’s a white grandma’s crib.

He is absolutely correct and Arkansas fans love it!

Broome and Scott did not seem to enjoy the room as much as Rick Tillery. However, they will have to make do for one night.

Should Broome fail to play up to his standard against the Razorbacks on Saturday afternoon, it is safe to assume that he was unable to sleep with the hog head looking down upon him.
