In 1924, Calvin Coolidge extended a White House invitation to the Washington Senators following their World Series victory and kicked off a proud tradition of presidents inviting championship teams to visit the hallowed grounds of the executive mansion.
Over the past century or so, countless athletes have made the trek to Washington, D.C. to celebrate their achievements and the tradition has (kind of) continued with Donald Trump, who made a bit of a wave last year when he invited Clemson to pop in and announced they’d be met with a lavish meal in the form of a fast food buffet.

Trump caught some heat for his decision, and while a number of Clemson players declined the chance to chow down on lukewarm Big Macs, at least one of them was more than happy to take advantage of the opportunity.

I can’t say I blame him.
Trump stepped up his game a bit when North Dakota State stopped by the White House a couple of months ago by dishing out some Chick-fil-A—although he made the grave mistake of opting for McDonald’s fries over the restaurant’s beloved waffle variety.

On Monday, the Baylor women’s basketball team dropped by to celebrate their national championship and were once again met with the fast food that has become standard fare for college players.

Based on her reaction, it’s safe to say Kalani Brown was quite amused by the spread.

Good job, good effort.
