Three possible Bigfoot sightings were recently reported in Texas and Idaho. “We felt a presence,” one of the witnesses claimed.
There have now been 264 Bigfoot sightings recorded in Texas, 107 recorded in Idaho, and 69 in Ontario, Canada by the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO).
Bigfoot sighting in East Texas
One of the recent Bigfoot sightings occurred on June 12 in Upshur County. The witness was driving on Highway 80 in East Texas between Big Sandy and Wilkins.
“It was 1:20 am on Friday June 12, 2026,” the witness recalled. “It was stepping out of the woods on the eastbound side like it was going to cross the road. I had my bright lights on and I saw it clear as day. When it saw my headlight, it turned facing me as it turned back into the woods. Its face still looking in my direction as it took one stride back into the woods.”
The witness also described the creature as having matted, brownish-red hair with an ape-like nose. He also described the Bigfoot as being 7-8 feet tall and about 3-4 feet wide at the chest.
“I got such a good look at its face that I can still see it. Its face was elongated, not round,” he continued. “I figured it would have more facial hair but its was more skin than hair. It did have hair around the face that looked more like a mane.”
Bigfoot sighting in Idaho
The second Bigfoot encounter happened the next day, on June 13 at the Deadwood Reservoir just north of Boise, Idaho.
“I was hiking above the dam when I saw slight movement up a hill about 60-70 yards away,” the witness told the BFRO. “I stopped to watch for a moment thinking maybe bear or mtn lion. After watching for about a minute this animal stood up on two legs and briefly looked towards me then turned uphill and began to quickly walk. I lost sight after 15-20 seconds.”
He added, “What I saw looked to be between 5ft and 6ft tall with long reddish hair. Its head was tall and its neck looked like it wasn’t there, just a head sitting on human like shoulders. I didn’t see alot of facial features other than the face was covered in hair.”
The witness also wrote that his brother “has always claimed to have had a sighting in 1991 above McCall idaho and I always laughed at him and teased him and told him he was full of spit. Now I’m not so sure.”
Interestingly, earlier in June, the Puget Press reported that 10 Idaho teenagers claimed that multiple Bigfoot creatures surrounded their camp in the Payette National Forest.
Bigfoot encounter in Ontario, Canada
Just a couple of days later, on June 15 and 16, a witness reported a Bigfoot sighting at Spectacle Lake in the Madawaska Valley in Ontario, Canada.
On both days, the campers heard tree knocking, but said “there are no cottages across the lake and we were the only campers.”
“The next night we heard tree knocks very close to our cottage,” the witness explained. “We also experienced blue and pink orbs. Very fast, flashes of light. There were 5 campers and we all heard the knocking on the first night.”
He added that they “felt a presence but could not see anything in the dense tree line.”
