A female Blue Jays fan who says she was hit in the head by a screaming foul ball launched off the bat of slugger Bo Bichette over the weekend showed off a massive shiner after the game.

The fan, who claims to have battled through the pain and stayed until the final out, is hoping to land a souvenir from the team. She didn’t even get to keep the ball she says she was hit by!

The woman, who goes by Liz McGuire on social media, posted about the incident on her X feed Sunday. She presumably references a matchup from a three-game set against the Tampa Bay Rays.

While she didn’t take home a baseball, she would leave the stadium with an oversized reminder of the contest directly on her forehead.

She’s now hoping the home team can do her a solid!

Those in the comments section offered their suggestions for a souvenir, some of which went beyond just gifting a signed ball.

“You need a Topps trading card right now.”

“She needs a Bo Bichette forehead autograph.”

“Print the pic of you with the goose egg and get him to sign it with the inscription, ‘110mph!!!'”

Where the woman was sitting isn’t clear, but it seems pretty obvious that it wasn’t behind any protective netting. That likely rules out her being somewhere behind the dish or along the infield walls.

It’s possible her seat was somewhere in the outfield. Still, 110 MPH comes at you quick! Just ask Astros hitter Chase McCormick about his experience with taking a triple-digit heater off the leg, and the gruesome aftermath.

While the injury looks severe, the woman appears to be okay and in good spirits. She let followers know that she’d received medical attention and is still following up with testing.

Now, let’s see if the Blue Jays can help the fan out.
