Hall Of Fame QB Brett Favre Once Had To Ask His Backup A Question Every High School Freshman QB Knows
Brett Favre is a 3-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl champion, and unsolicited dick pic sender. It’s no secret that Favre was a gun slinger who read the playbook as thoroughly as you and I read the Terms and Conditions before making an online purchase.
New information has come to light that highlights just how much disregard Favre had for structure and x’s and o’s. Favre, a Packers starter, finally mustered up the courage after a couple years under center to ask his backup Ty Detmer what a nickel defense was. For perspective, that’s like a surgeon asking a nurse what a scalpel is. Or Ray Lewis asking Aaron Hernandez what a murder weapon is.

“I said, ‘What’s a nickel defense?’
“He gets real quiet. He says, ‘Are you serious?’
“;Yeah, I’m serious.’
“He says, ‘Well, they basically take out a linebacker and bring in a DB.’
“I said, ‘That’s it?’
“He said, ‘That’s it.’
“I said, ‘Who gives a shit?'”
God, Aaron Rodgers must’ve wanted to murder Favre during his years as backup.
