Original Story:

The Denver Broncos seem poised for a major shakeup, with reports indicating of a trade involving wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.

According to Fanbuzz’ Matt Lombardo, the Broncos are expected to trade Jeudy, an NFC Executive reportedly said they have already had “internal discussions” about a possible deal.

Trade talks involving Jeudy are stretching back to last year and gaining momentum amidst the Broncos’ 1-4 start to the 2023 season.

Despite the reports, the Broncos have been tight-lipped about their plans. Coach Sean Payton claims they are not actively seeking to trade anyone, although they have been fielding inquiries from interested parties.

Jeudy, a former first-round pick in the 2020 Draft, had a decent start to the season with 17 catches. The Broncos seem to value him enough to exercise his 5th-year option earlier this year, guaranteeing him a $12.9 million for the 2024 season.

Jeduy caught 174 passes for 2,503 yards and 9 touchdowns in his 4-year career, playing on 45 games.

As their season continues to go down, we’ll have to wait and see if and when the Broncos will pull the trigger on a deal involving Jeudy or other players soon.
