LeBron James’ youngest son, Bryce, might be the best athlete in the family. Some are saying…

Bryce James is considered a four-star prospect in the college basketball recruiting Class of 2025, but he will likely get upped to a five-star before his high school career is over. There was not a lot of opportunity for playing time as an underclassman on a star-studded Sierra Canyon team and there is still a long way to go!

At (at least) 6-foot-4, 160 pounds, James recently transferred to Notre Dame High School in the greater Los Angeles area. It will be his first year with the new team, which is a consistent state championship contender in California.

James’ junior season debut was impressive. The sky is the limit.

Although James is still more than a year away from making a college decision, his fall break allowed him to get a jumpstart on the process. His mother, Savannah, traveled with Bryce and a few of his teammates for an unofficial visit to Ohio State over the weekend.

It marked James’ first college visit. Considering the James family’s ties to Ohio, and LeBron James‘ love of the Buckeyes, it was not a surprise that his first stop would be in Columbus.

Of course, part of his visit included a stop at the Horseshoe for Saturday’s college football game. James and company spent the afternoon on the sideline next to head basketball coach Chris Holtmann.

As of right now, James only has one scholarship offer from Duquesne. The trip to Columbus presented Holtmann and his staff with a great opportunity to impress LeBron’s youngest son before the 2025 cycle really gets underway.

Considering the secrecy surrounding Bronny’s recruitment, it is unlikely that we will receive any updates on Bryce’s trip to Ohio. However, for him to be there at all — and first — says a lot about the Buckeyes’ chances!
