The Chicago Bulls haven’t quite lived up to the hype this season as they’re struggling early on. Additionally, there are rumors that the players and coaching staff aren’t getting along.

Well, it sounds like the situation could be worse than perceived, as the latest update about Zach LaVine might have the franchise in shambles.

According to Shams Charania, LaVine and the Bulls are “not seeing eye-to-eye.” The continuous losing situation going on in Chicago is weighing heavy on everybody’s shoulders. The star shooting guard weighs in on what he’s trying to do to change it up.

He tells The Athletic, “It’s all glitter and show when you’re winning games. But when you’re losing games and you’re trying to do the same things it’s turmoil. Everybody has their right to their own opinion. For me, I keep my head down. I work on my game and try to help my team. I help try to lead the team. That’s where I stand. I just try to take it day by day and evaluate how we’re doing.”

Seems like Zach LaVine has his head on his shoulders. Even so, “over the past few weeks, there’s been a palpable feeling across various parts of the franchise of a disconnect over LaVine’s situation in Chicago,” per The Athletic.

This is a less-than-ideal situation for the Bulls. As Sham Charania points out, “all of this has been happening while LaVine is in the first season of a five-year, $215 million maximum deal.”

So, between Zach LaVine reportedly not seeing eye to eye with the organization, rumors of Billy Donovan losing the locker room, and the team’s inconsistency on the court, things are looking like a mess in Chicago. There is still plenty of time left in the season to right the ship. However, it certainly sounds like the Bulls are already running out of time.
