Caitlin Clark pulled up to the WNBA Draft rocking Prada from head to toe. It was historic!
Her outfit made history for both the women’s and men’s game.
Prada had never dressed any prospective NBA or WNBA player at either draft prior to Monday’s event. Clark is the first soon-to-be rookie, male or female, to have the 100-year-old+ Italian luxury fashion brand dress her out. From the sunglasses to the purse, she was dripping!
Clark revealed the historic outfit during an interview with her future Indiana Fever teammate, Aliyah Boston. They are going to create a nasty frontcourt/backcourt duo on the next level and the chemistry between them was already evident. Smiles and giggles were abundant.

Although I could not find the exact details of Clark’s outfit, it would be safe to assume that her outfit cost no less than $10,000 when put together. All of the details start to add up.
The sunglasses alone cost somewhere between $1,500 and $2,000!
There has never been a star in women’s basketball as big as Caitlin Clark, so it makes sense that Prada would make such a big move to get her to wear their brand. The NBA Draft outfits are often mentioned briefly and pass by quickly. The WNBA Draft has never seen more interest.
If there was ever a time for Prada to show up and show out, it was Monday night.
Everybody was talking about Clark’s future in the professional league. All eyes were on her as she went No. 1 overall to Indiana. In turn, all eyes were on Prada.
I would be curious to know an estimated dollar amount for the amount of exposure that the fashion house received from their outfit on Draft night. There is no doubt in my mind that it was astronomical.
Clark was already the focus of WNBA Draft night. Her outfit really made sure she was the star!
