The Caitlin Clark era of the WNBA is set to begin in earnest next week as the rookie sensation will be making her professional debut when the Indiana Fever head east to take on the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday, May 12.

Given the hype surrounding Clark, the prices for tickets to her WNBA debut are far higher than the league is used to, with the average ticket costing around $150.

The cheapest ticket to get into Clark’s WNBA debut when the Connecticut Sun host the Indiana Fever is currently going for $99 (before fees) on StubHub. Those prices are way higher over on TicketMaster, where the cheapest ticket for Clark’s WNBA debut is currently priced at $161.28 (before fees).

Some seats in the arena are going for as much as $1000, $2000, $3000, and even north of $4000.

For comparison, tickets to see the Washington Mystics hosting the New York Liberty on that same night are going for $35 at their cheapest. Tickets to see the Seattle Storm host the Minnesota Lynx are going for $30 per seat.

Clark certainly delivered on her potential in her preseason debut as she put up 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in 28 minutes of game time.

In addition to Clark, the 2024 WNBA season will see the debut of fellow exciting rookies Cameron Brink and Angel Reese (who was spotted at the Met Gala earlier this week).

Heading into the 2024 season, Clark is the overwhelming favorite to be named Rookie of the Year and is the fourth betting favorite to win the league’s MVP award.

Clark’s arrival has also made the Fever outside contenders for the WNBA title, as the bookies have them with the 6th best odds to win the 2024 championship behind the Las Vegas Aces, New York Liberty, Connecticut Sun, Seattle Storm, and Dallas Wings.
