Caleb Odom might be the biggest wide receiver in college football. The rising sophomore is so large that his new offensive line at Ole Miss looks like the average student you might encounter on campus.

That is obviously not the case.

Odom, a four-star prospect in the college football recruiting Class of 2023, was ranked at the No. 2 player at his position and a top-100 player overall. However, that position was tight end. He was not recruited as a wide receiver because of his size. Everybody thought he was going to move inside.

Alabama had other plans! Odom committed to the Crimson Tide over 33 other offers. That list included schools like Miami, Penn State, Michigan and Florida as well as Georgia State, Purdue, USF and Wake Forest. Lane Kiffin wanted him out of high school but did not land him the first time around.

The coaching staff in Tuscaloosa was thrilled to get Odom on campus and decided that it was best to keep the freshman at wide receiver but they did not get him on the field. He caught only seven passes for 65 yards in five games.

Caleb Odom was frustrated with the lack of targets and publicly aired his grievances on social media. And then he hit the transfer portal.

Kiffin immediately put on the full-court press. The Rebels got him to campus, and as they say — “if you don’t want to go to Ole Miss, don’t visit.” Odom visited so he decided to continue his career in Oxford.

Listed on the roster at 6-foot-5, 215 pounds, you literally cannot miss him. Especially when he is making freakish plays like this:

Ole Miss’ newest pass-catcher is already a problem!

Let’s put his size into perspective because it might actually be understated. Offensive tackle Diego Pounds is listed at 6-foot-6, 340 pounds and Odom goes pretty much pound-for-pound.

That guy in the white t-shirt is a true sophomore at the age of 19. What??

SEC defenses are in trouble. Good luck trying to guard Caleb Odom!
