Former Oklahoma quarterback Caleb Williams has been in the transfer portal for 27 days and has yet to make a decision. While the college football world anxiously awaits his commitment, he ruthlessly trolled everybody on Saturday.
Williams, who took over for Spencer Rattler against Texas, was expected to transfer from the moment that head coach Lincoln Riley left for the same job at USC. That is exactly what happened.
After the season came to a close, Williams announced his intentions to transfer. Although he did not rule out a return to Norman, he has since moved out.
Now, the expectation is that he will commit to play for Riley in Los Angeles. However, in recent weeks, there have been rumors about LSU. And even more recently, Wisconsin has entered the mix as a potential suitor.
Williams and his family have ties to the Badgers, but it doesn’t really make all that much sense for him to play in Madison.
Nevertheless, the speculation continues. Colin Cowherd hinted at a potential commitment on Friday and Riley even addressed the possibility of a few more transfer commitments in the coming days.
But as of Saturday afternoon, there was still nothing new. No commitment.
And then Williams proceeded to troll everybody, whether intentional or not.
After weeks of refreshing his social media waiting on an announcement, Williams posted to his Instagram. Was it a commitment?
Nope, just a highlight tape— and a very lit one at that.
