And just like that, Jon Rahm became the People’s Golfer.
The 24-year-old Spaniard is having a tough go at 101st PGA Championship, currently +5 and ranking T-99–a disappointing start for the former number one golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for a record 60 weeks.
During Friday’s second round of the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black, cameras captured Rahm booking it for the fringe of the woods to whip out his putter and take a leak in plain sight of Dustin Johnson, who was preparing to shoot on the par-5 fourth hole.

Suffice it to say, both Rahm and Johnson muffed the par-5 fourth big time, each making a bogey, dropping DJ to two under and Rahm to four over.
Despite Rahm pissing down his leg both literally and figuratively at the PGA Championship, I don’t think there’s a shitty, beer-drinking golfer in the planet who can’t sympathize with his struggle here. You could have put out the California wildfires with the amount of piss I’ve drained at courses over the years. There simply is nothing like whipping it out in nature and degrading the course that has beat the shit out of you for an entire round. It’s an odd and rewarding sense of retribution. An easy decision to make every time at the risk of being caught and having to register as a sex offender.
