Carlos Rodon was possibly the top snub for this year’s MLB All-Star Game. The left-handed pitcher is off to a fantastic start in San Francisco this season, posting an 8-5 record and a 2.70 ERA.

But when you look deeper into his statistics, you see that his overall production is better than even those numbers indicate. Rodon boasts top three National League marks in terms of WAR, strikeouts, and FIP, which calculates a pitcher’s ability to prevent home runs and walks while also striking batters out.

This coming a year after making his first All-Star Game appearance with the White Sox in 2021.

So, when his name was missing from the invite list, many were confused. None, more so, than Rodon’s wife, Ashley. And she let it be known on social media when the rosters were released.

Ashley Rodon blasted the MLB All-Star voting following the Carlos Rodon snub.

Ashley Rodon took to Twitter to voice her displeasure with the All-Star voting process. She fired off a few posts showing why her husband should’ve been on the roster.

Ashley also retweeted a number of posts in support of Rodon.

It’s safe to say she’s not happy with the Carlos Rodon snub.

As of now, a fan vote is part of the process when deciding which All-Stars are selected. This leads to some of the MLB’s top players being left out of the Mid-Summer Classic. Maybe Ashley Rodon’s displeasure will lead to the league changing its voting process.
