Earlier tonight, the Indiana Pacers stunned the NBA world when they traded superstar Paul George for a pair of role players in Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis. According to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman, the Pacers previously rejected a huge offer from the Celtics on draft night that would have included three first round picks and two starters.

Celtics offer on draft night for Paul George, per league source, was 3 first-round picks (not the Nets pick next year or the Lakers/Kings pick) and two starters (Crowder being one).
Pacers fans weren’t happy with the deal.
Nets got a first-round pick for Bojan Bogdanovic in February
Lakers got a first for Lou Williams
Pacers did not get a pick for Paul George

That's exactly how you don't run a team. Turn down a great offer for basically a guard who can't shoot and a scared big man

How on earth did Pacers not take this and then jump at OKC deal? https://t.co/6wRb4o7t7C

HOW DO YOU PASS UP THREE FIRST ROUNDERS AND THEN GET OLADIPO? WTF

Three first round picks isn't good enough but oladipo who averaged 15 and sabonis is just too good to pass up right? Pathetic

Fireworks must be scarce in Indiana? Pacers traded PG13 for 4 sparklers, 5 smoke bombs and 6pk of firecrackers.😂
