Las Vegas Raiders defensive star Chandler Jones was the subject of a wellness check earlier this month after he aired out the team’s dirty laundry on social media.

Among the messages Jones posted online was an alleged text conversation with Raiders coach Josh McDaniels where he said if he would be allowed to play on Sunday he wouldn’t “share anything else.”

Jones also claimed he had been locked out of the Raiders’ facility, forced to work out at a local gym, and had no idea why he wasn’t with the team.

All Josh McDaniels would say about Chandler Jones when asked is that it was a “personal situation…a private matter.”

Jones still has not played for the Raiders this season and now the 33-year-old claims he was forced into a mental hospital last week.

“First day out but I’m still aligned,” Jones wrote in the caption of a social media post.

“I was taken in by the Las Vegas fire department last week against my will,” Jones wrote in a three-page handwritten note that he shared photos of in the post.

“I was injected with (I don’t know what).

“They said it was a court hold and the Las Vegas police put me on it,” Jones continued.

“I haven’t done anything wrong.

“The police said people were concerned about me because of my posts online.

“I answered my front door and a group of 5 to 7 were there to put me in an ambulance where I was later injected and I asked them not to.”

Chandler Jones also claimed that after being taken to a hospital and a doctor tried to force him to “take meds & injections.”

Jones said he attempted to contact Raiders general manager Dave Ziegler “6 to 7 times asking for help,” but “he never answered.”

“My first night I slept on the floor and was not offered a bed,” he claimed, adding that his brothers bring him food and clothes and his father visits him and reads him Bible verses every day. So his family, which includes his brother UFC legend Jon Jones, was obviously aware that he had been locked up.

“All I know is whoever put me here had bad intentions. I’m too strong of a person to be mentally broken. For all of my friends that know me, THEY KNOW!!!”

The Raiders have placed Jones on the “non-football illness” list, with no set date for his return, according to NFL reporter Dianna Russini.
