National treasure Charles Barkley, just one week after committing a random act of homicide against DeMar DeRozan, has claimed another casualty.

At halftime of the game between the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley took aim at Portland Blazers center Hassan Whiteside, who had just two points at the break and looked like he popped a few quaaludes before the game.

While TNT ran the first half highlight reel, O’Neal, who has attempted to stick up for Whiteside in the past, simply couldn’t anymore:

“Whiteside, it’s his contract year, I’ve been sticking up for him all the time. Me and Chuck [Barkley], we always have these arguments, but tonight he’s playing with no effort.”

“Well, at least he’s consistent,” Barkley shot back.

Here is when it got juicy.

When Charles refers to Whiteside “stealing money,” he’s alluding to the Heat signing him to a four-year, $98 million contract in July of 2016 before trading him to the Blazers three years later.

In Whiteside’s defense, he had a very strong second half, finishing the game with 17 points and 19 rebounds in 27 minutes in the 107-101 loss to the Clippers.

The Blazers center caught wind of Shaq and Chuck’s comments and responded to the media after the loss.

I laughed out loud at this tweet…

Who will Chuck claim next? NOBODY IS SAFE.
