These two are arguably the best lightweight contenders in the world right now, so it should be a great fight. However, Oliveira proves he’s the baddest man on the planet by walking an actual, living, breathing, lion ahead of the highly anticipated bout.

UFC fighters are just built different. There’s really no other way to describe it. Oliveira proved that on Wednesday after he was seen casually walking a lion on a leash. He had absolutely no fear in his eye. Charles Oliveira showcased an incredible amount of confidence in this clip.

Most people walk dogs. Hell, I’ve seen some people walk house cats before. But a lion? A real-life, breathing, actual lion. That could easily rip your face off if it wanted to. That’s what Charles Oliveira chose to walk, proving he is clearly not afraid of Islam Makhachev.

UFC 280 should be an absolute banger. However, I couldn’t even fathom what it would be like being Makhachev right now. Not only is he going up against arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, but his opponent has absolutely no fear whatsoever.

Maybe we’ll see Islam Makhachev try to one-up Charles Oliveira before UFC 280. The only way to do that would be to wrestle with an actual bear. Luckily, his trainer Khabib Nurmagomedov has plenty of experience doing that as a child.

There’s a reason these guys fight in the UFC. You obviously have to be a different kind of human to do so.
